Saku

Notifications

Saku notifies you when work changes: assignments, comments, due dates, note access requests, board and team invites, and more. Control what you receive in email and in the app.

Overview

Click the bell icon in the header to open the notification panel. Each item links to the relevant board, card, note, or invite flow. Mark items read as you work through them.

Email preferences

Under Settings, open the notifications section to choose which events send email: assignments, comments, due-date reminders, invitations, digests, and product updates.

Auth-related emails (sign-in links, security) follow separate rules and cannot be disabled where required for account safety.

Mentions in card comments

In card comments and replies, type @ or [[ to open the same entity picker as Notes. Board members appear first; you can also link notes, boards, cards, CRM records, and calendar items. Linking a team member still sends mention notifications.

See Notes wiki links and card details.

Note access requests

When someone requests access to your personal note (from CRM, a card, or a locked wiki link), you receive a Note access requested notification. Click it to open Notes and review the request.

  • Note access requested: sent to the note owner when a team owner or admin asks for access.
  • Note access granted: sent to the requester when you share view access, move the note to the team vault, or enable a public link.
  • Note access denied: sent to the requester when you decline.

Manage pending requests from Notes → Access requests. See Access requests in Notes for owner actions and visibility rules.
