Account and security

Overview

Your account is separate from your teams: one sign-in gives you access to all the workspaces you are a member of. Manage sign-in and security options from Settings → My Account → Security. Team-level settings such as members and billing live under Managing teams.

Sign-in methods

At the sign-in page you can use any of the following:

• Magic link: enter your email and Saku sends a secure one-time sign-in link. No password required. For your protection, repeated requests are rate-limited, and if a link expires you can request a fresh one.
• Password: set a password (at least 8 characters) under Security to sign in with your email and password. You can add, change, or replace it at any time. If you forget it, use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page; the email link expires after one hour.
• Passkey: sign in with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device PIN once you have added a passkey — see below.

Passkeys

Passkeys let you sign in with your device's biometrics or PIN instead of typing a password. They are tied to the device you create them on, so add one on each device you use regularly.

• Go to Settings → My Account → Security and choose Add passkey. Follow your device's prompt to confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or a PIN.
• To sign in later, pick the passkey option on the sign-in page and confirm on your device.
• Remove a passkey from the same Security screen if you lose a device or no longer use it.

Staying signed in

Once you sign in, Saku keeps you signed in on that browser or device until you sign out. Use Sign out from the account menu to end your session — do this on shared or public computers.

For safety, password changes are unavailable while a support agent is assisting you on your account, so no one can change your credentials during an assisted session.
